Deepika Padukone Gets Her Costume Swapped From A Short Skirt To Shorts For Dum Maaro Dum Deepika Padukone |
Deepika Padukone asked Director Rohan Sippy to change her costume from a very short skirt to shorts for the Dum Maaro Dum song.
She was given an Anahita Adajania Shroff dress which comprised of a bikini top and a very tiny skirt which hardly covered anything. Deepika found it hard to wear the skirt while she was rehearsing for the song as it was very short and dancing was just too difficult wearing it.
A source revealed, "The skirt Anahita designed barely covered the actress's derriere yet looked stunning on her. During trials, DP received several compliments. Director Rohan Sippy had briefed her and she understood that the song needed sexy clothes. The trouble began when she started rehearsing for the song. The dance steps were difficult to do because of the skirt's length."
Deepika asked Rohan to change her outfit as she was not able to move her body in that short skirt. The outfit was later substituted with shorts.
