David Arquette: Don’t Label Me As A Cheater Courteney Cox |
Estranged husband of Courteney Cox, David Arquette was recently criticised for telling all about his separation and sex life with the actress at Howard Stern`s radio show but the actor believes that he has not done anything wrong as his open conversation can help many pair’s suffering from same problem.
"A lot of people are going through stuff like that, and it just helps to kind of hear a celebrity that`s experiencing the same kind of things," Arquette quoted.
Cox, 46 and David, 39, marriage was considered as the most successful in Hollywood but earlier this month they announced their split ending their 11 years of marriage.
In spite of being criticised a lot by the actress fans, Arquette said he just wanted to be honest with everyone including Howard Stern.
"I love Howard Stern. I think he`s the most honest journalist out there. ... He`s been so supportive of me and defended me. ... I didn`t want to let him down."
He added, "I know I probably offend some people. I have been talking a little too much so I`m trying not to talk as much."
Meanwhile, Arquette also defended him by saying that he has never cheated on his actress wife and should not be blamed for the split.
He said: 'I love my wife, she is an incredible woman, we are just at different places right now.”
'There is going to be a story coming out that I was a cheater, but I was faithful to my wife for the 11 years we were together, like completely devoted. We had been separated for a while, we did not want to make that public [or] to make it a big deal, but we also had an agreement that we could date other people.”
He continued saying, 'Somebody sold the story and I didn't want to get labelled as a cheater.'
Arquette is currently focussing on his career and is busy directing an episode of ‘CSI: Miami’ and filming a short film, ‘The Legend of Hallowdega’.
