‘American Idol’ finale was the only thing that people were discussing about. The whole world was glued to their television screen to see the two hour gala event. The fans of the talent show were also desperate to know who will be crowned the next ‘American Idol’.
And to everyone’s shock, Lee Dewyze became the winner of American Idol’s season 9. But, before the name of the winner was announced, the finale saw number of performances not only from the contestants but celebrities also rocked the prestigious Idol stage.
The biggest surprise of the evening was the appearance and performance of Bret Michaels. Looking at Michaels one would never guess that this guy had been on his death bed just weeks before.
The audiences were overjoyed to see the singer and definitely it was the treat to watch Michaels. Bret performed on the song ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorns’ which is the only hit from his rock band ‘Poisons’.
Later, Casey James accompanied Bret and sang with him. No one can deny the fact that the duet of Bret Michaels and Casey James was refreshing.
