A 24 year old boy when came for the audition of ‘American idol’ , the judges were not too sure that he could make it to top but today he is the winner of one of the most popular television show.
Lee DeWyze is the winner of ninth season of American Idol. It was a slow and steady journey for the new singing idol.
DeWyze was born in Mount Prospect, Illinois, U.S and attended Saint James Catholic Elementary School in Arlington Heights, Illinois and Prospect High School up until his senior year. After leaving Prospect High, Lee attended Forest View Alternative School in Arlington Heights, having been inspired both by his teachers and his interest in music to return to his studies.
His favourite musicians are, Cat Stevens, Eric Clapton, Ben Harper, and Simon & Garfunkel.
