The name of top two contestants who will be competing for the prestigious title of next ‘American Idol’ has been revealed. Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox have entered the finale.
On Wednesday, everyone was keen to know who will be eliminated from the show. Texan Casey James dreams to become the next ‘American Idol’ shattered after he was voted out by the audience. Host Ryan Seacrest announced that 47 million votes were casted after Tuesday's performances.
Texan Casey James said after being eliminated, "I can't believe it, man. I'm so thankful for the opportunity." And audience members yelled out "We love you Casey."
Meanwhile, DeWyze who is known to be popular among the judges made it to the finale easily.
Kara DioGuardi told Lee after his rocking performance on Tuesday, "Lee you are what this show is all about. You are the heart of this show this season, and you just owned the entire night."
DeWyze and Bowersox will be performing live from the Nokia Theatre L.A, at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. And on Wednesday, the name of the next ‘American Idol’ will be announced during the two-hour finale beginning at 7 p.m.
