Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol shared an excellent chemistry in Gadar which was a huge hit. But, when Ameesha was offered a role opposite Sunny in Mohalla 80 she refused to take it.
As per sources, though Ameesha was keen to work with Sunny again but, the reason behind her refusal is that she was unhappy with the moolah being offered to her. Her role in Mohalla 80 of Chandraprakash Dwivedi was a significant one. However, it is clear that money is all that matters.
Though the actress’s career is going down, an opportunity to work with Sunny again might have given it the necessary boost. She said, "The film was offered to me but the budgets didn't work out".
The shooting has already started and Sunny has a different character to play in the flick. He would be seen donning a dhoti and kurta and will have a thick moustache to suit the character of a Sanskrit teacher.
