Jimmy Shergill’s upcoming Punjabi flick Dharti is slated to get released on April 22 this year. The movie is being directed by Navaniat Singh.

 

It is reported that Shergill is also producing the movie. His last flick was also a Punjabi one called Mel Karade Rabba which was hugely successful in the region.

 

Navaniat Singh said, “Our last film was a huge hit. In many single screens of Punjab we broke the record of GADAR. Jimmy has become the Shahrukh Khan of Punjab. Now we are teaming up again for DHARTI. The film is a political drama and is produced by Jimmy Sheirgill Productions in association with Best Film Corp. It's Jimmy's first production and he's playing a Squadron Leader in it.”

 

Navaniat added that other than Jimmy, Surveen Chawla, Prem Chopra and Rahul Dev are working in the movie.
