‘Pyaar Ke Side Effects’, a Bollywood superhit, is all set to return as with its sequel, but the lead couple in the movie will be different. Reports have revealed Akshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor will be essaying the role of Sid and Trisha, played by Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat respectively in the original.
According to producer Pritish Nandy, "Akshay Kumar was the first and only choice for the sequel. He has that roguish charm to take Sid`s role further."
If the reports are true, Akshay loved the script and has already agreed to work on the film. "Akshay is as integral to this project as RD Burman was to Jhankar Beats," Nandy said.
But, Sonam’s presence has still not been confirmed for the film, but Mallika has reportedly declined the offer.
