'Jashnn' is the story of a young man (Akash Verma), who dreams to become a signing icon, but fails to achieve his dream, as he does not possess a unique voice.
Aman Bajaj is married to Nisha, the sister of Akash. Aman has a sister – Sara- who enters the life of Akash. Once she comes into picture, it is “Midas touch” for Akash. She is the one who encourages Akash and provides him with the confidence that he should keep on trying and should never give up his dream. She convinces Akash that he could win the world by not giving up his dream to become a popular singer.
Sara`s love and support makes Akash to rediscover his hidden talent and becomes an overnight star with his unique tune and signing. He makes his brother-in-law humble with his success and also makes his sister to feel proud of him.
The first half of the film is quite strong, mainly because of Shahana’s power-packed performance. However, too much of drama reduces Shahana’s character to a peculiar Hindi movie sister.
Adhyayan’s performance wasn’t all that bad either, but Shahana is the actor to watch, as she proves to be matchless in the film. Overall, it’s not a bad watch!
