Akshay Kumar when entered B-town no one imagined that this martial art teacher can make people laugh but soon he left everyone stunned by venturing into comic films and gave hits like, ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa’ , ‘De Dhana Dhan’. The actor is back on the block with his another comic offering, ‘Khatta Meetha’ which is slated to hit the silver screens on Friday.
However, our favourite ‘Akki’ has cleared the doubts of those who believe that he has given up serious roles.
He quoted, "I have not put a full stop on serious roles. I am still waiting for something that excites me. I did '8X10 Tasveer' no one came to see it. So I am looking for a role that attracts more people than 8X10 Tasveer.”
The actor is excited about his forthcoming flick ‘Khatta Meetha’ which is directed by his pal and director Priyadarshan. In the movie, Akshay portrays the role of a contractor.
In most of the films his acting style was same, but 42-year old star denies any monotony in his performance. "Everybody have their own viewpoint, but I don't feel there is any monotony,” he said.
