Acer, who is currently poised to become the world’s no. 1 computer manufacturer, has recently launched its latest range of desktops, the Aspire M5800 and M3800.
The M5800 has a 2.66 GHz Core 2 Quad processor, 8GB of RAM, 1.5GB GeForce GT230 graphics card, a 740GB drive and comes with HDMI support, all for the price of a cool USD $800.
The M2800 is a lower end model that packs in 2.5 GHz and an integrated X4500 graphics card with HDMI out for a price of $450 in a tower or for $529 in a low-profile case.
The Taiwanese manufacturer has also launched a new monitor, the H235H, which offers 1080p resolution, 2ms response time, a 160-deree viewing angle, and 100,000:`1 contrast ratio for $239.
The recession has been kind on the company, who employs ultra-lowcost formula of making stylish laptops and netbooks all the while keeping inventory always moving and maintaining retail partnerships. It is is soon set to beat US’s Dell and HP. This new line of computers may just help them get there.
