Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have now international fans as they come together in the popular Oprah Winfrey’s show. The couple was invited as the guest in the show and they graced the whole stage with their presence. They came on stage holding hands and taking the seat together. Aishwarya had come in the show earlier some few years ago.

 

Oprah introduced the couple to the attentive audience as, “India's Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan have five Billion, yes, I said five Billion fans around the globe. The She has been called the world's most beautiful woman and he is not so bad himself! They are husband and wife, and superstars of Bollywood.”

 

Aishwarya had eloquently dressed herself in traditional Indian dress with a bindi to adorn her face. Hubby Abhishek was also looking smart and handsome in his cropped hairstyle.  Oprah called the actors with their short names like Abee (for Abhi) and Aish which added a sense of intimacy to the whole episode.

 

Some footage of hundreds of fans outside the Bachchan residence to catch a glimpse of the stars was also presented in the show. Besides, pictures showing some people getting beaten up were shown. At this, the couple expressed their concern and Abhi said, "I didn't know this was happening.”

 

The couple stressed on the importance which Indian family lays on values and traditions. They discussed on Bollywood movies. Oprah was extremely amused to find out that in Bollywood movies actors don’t kiss. Abhi stressed the point saying, “For example, boy meets girl, they fall in love, they want to express their love for each other. So in the West, they would kiss, and they're in love. In India, we have a song. You have this intimate moment, and suddenly—snap, cut—you're in the mountains singing and dancing!” Aishwarya added that it is fun doing all these.

 

The couple shared their lighter moments when Abhi proposed Aish in a hotel’s balcony. So, the Bollywood couple is all set to reign over the entire globe!
