Aamir Khan Is Not My Lucky Mascot: Sharman Joshi Aamir Khan-Sharman Joshi |
From being naughty ‘Bantu’ in N. Chandra’s ‘Style’ to average student Raju Rastogi in ‘3 Idiots’, Sharman Joshi has come a long way and today he is counted in one of the popular B-town actors.
The potential of the actor was soon recognized by Mr. Perfect of Bollywood, Aamir Khan and he offered him a strong role in ‘Rang De Basanti’ from where his career took a new turn. Then, he again joined Aamir in 2009 release, ‘3 Idiots’ which landed him Best Supporting Actor award in 2010 IIFA awards.
But, Sharman believes that it will not be technically correct to say that Aamir is his lucky mascot.
Sharman quoted, "I cannot really say if Aamir Khan has been my lucky mascot. That’s not appropriate to say. But I have been privileged to work with him both in ‘Rang De Basanti’ and ‘3 Idiots’.”
"I had a great experience working with Aamir. I got to learn so much for him. I really respect him and admire him as a person and for his acting," he added.
However, the actor is open to team up with Khan again. He said, "I’d love to. If I get that honour, why not? But, there’s nothing in the pipeline of that sort as of now."
