Singer Whitney Houston, during her interview in ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’, revealed that her life with former husband Bobby Brown was a nightmare of drugs and fights. The singer revealed that Bobby Brown once spit on her face.
"I had so much money and so much access to what I wanted. I didn`t think about the singing part anymore. I was looking for my young womanhood," Whitney Houston told the chat host Oprah Winfrey.
Houston married Bobby Brown in 1992 and was divorced in 2007. Houston told that Brown was not physically abusive but "he slapped me once but he got hit on the head three times by me," Whitney Houston said.
The singer also revealed that the Brown’s controlling nature attracted her. "At home, he was very much the father, he was very much the man," Houston said.
She added, "He was very much in control. I liked that. When he said something, I listened. I was very interested in having someone have that kind of control over me. It was refreshing."
She admitted that once after Brown’s birthday party they had a fight and he spit on her face which was seen by her daughter, Bobbi Kristina and it left Houston hurted and angry.
‘Didn't We Almost Have It All’ hitmaker said that she took her marriage promises very seriously and that was the reason she was stuck to Brown. "I was so weak to him I was so weak to the love."
