Kanye West ruined the precious night of singer Taylor Swift. At the MTV Video Music Awards in New York the singer was awarded with Best Female Video award for her music video ‘You Belong With Me’. When the singer was making her acceptance speech Kanye West stormed the stage to protest the Swift’s first honour.
Kanye West snatched the microphone from Swift and said, “"Taylor, I'm really happy for you, I'm gonna let you finish, but Beyonce had one of the best videos of all time."
Beyonce was stunned and speechless whereas Taylor Swift held back tears as fans started chanting her name. According to sources, Kanye West was reportedly asked to leave the ceremony by MTV organisers following the outburst.
Later, the stars from Former Destiny's Child singers Kelly Rowland to Michelle Williams expressed their views on the issue.
Rowland said, "And I know B is SO gracious, she was TRULY happy for Taylor!!!! Taylor that was your moment, don't let ANYONE, I don't give a F who they are. i love Kanye and i love Taylor, and of course i love B. But no one should have a moment taken away from them....no one. It's room for everyone. Kanye...why boo.”
Rowland added, "My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment. She should know we all love her."
Meanwhile, Michelle Williams expressed her views by saying, "Oh my God Kanye no."
