Trisha Krishnan speaks of her ‘Khatta Meetha’ movie experience, she is 35 films old in the Southern film industry, and talks about first Bollywood film experience.

 

Trisha is in the Indian film industry for the past 7 years, which is really big enough to understand it. She has 35 films to complete her resume with many other achievements. Since, she stars with Akshay Kumar in ‘Khatta Meetha’, she may have felt sidelined or overpowered.

 

But Trisha adds, “Yes, eventually this is Akshay’s film but then I don’t mind that. Many of my predecessors had some of the best kick starts but couldn’t travel much distance. I hope to make a point in ‘Khatta Meetha’ even though it may not be a conventional launch.”

 

Trisha does not have much choice in the Bollywood industry as she is new and can’t be too finicky about things at the moment.

 

She further adds, “This is my first film and I can’t be too choosy; let’s admit that. For a start, I have to be seen with big star and a director who gives guaranteed box office return. I guess this is good enough to make your first move. I won’t say that there is no love story at all in the film. It may not be there for the complete two and a half hours of the film but there is a thread of love story between me and Akshay that plays through the film.”

 

She also praises Akhay for his support instead of being a super star and the producer of the movie. She also says that he didn’t leave any stone unturned to bring out the best in her.
