Lara Wears Lettuce For An Ad-Campaign Lara Dutta |
Beauty queen and actress Lara Dutta clad herself in a full length gown made of lettuce leaves and vegetables for a very unique reason of fighting for the rights of animals shown through an ad-campaign.
Celebrities have always been using their brand image to make the audience understand a message better. Lara Dutta has done something similar and she recently shot for an ad-campaign for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), the animal rights organization.
The advertisement shows Lara wearing a full length gown made of lettuce leaves and vegetables and it was shot by famous photographer Jatin Kampani.
Lara adds, “Even seemingly small choices can have a big impact on our health, our community and the world around us. Going vegetarian is one of the easiest ways to improve our health, help countless animals and protect the Earth.”
The ad is specially shot for the non-vegetarians, so that they can get inspired from the message to follow a vegetarian diet and can help in lowering the number of non-vegetarians.
Even scientifically a vegetarian diet relates to a lower rate of heart diseases, cancer, strokes and diabetes. On the other hand, a non-vegetarian diet increases the problems in the human body.
The other celebrities who love being a vegetarian are Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor, Madhavan, Aditi Govitrikar, Rajneesh Duggal and Mahima Chaudhary.
