Toshiba NB305 and Gateway LT2102H Netbooks To Be Launched Soon  Toshiba NB305 |
Toshiba and Gateway have announced the launch of their latest netbooks, the Toshiba NB305 and Gateway LT2102H. Most probably, the new designs will be released at the upcoming Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show.
These new netbooks from Toshiba and Gateway will join other Pine Trail based netbooks from Samsung, Lenovo, Dell, HP and Asus. And, the new netbooks will also run with Windows 7 starter edition. Both the sets come with a 10.1 wide LCD screen with 1024x600 pixel resolution.
Toshiba NB305 netbook sports a 1.66GHz Intel Atom 'Pineview' N450 microprocessor with 512K L2 cache and 667MHz FSB. This netbook offers a good HD storage of about 250GB. Apart from that, this new design is better due to its advanced Intel GMA 3150 Express integrated graphics input.
The NB305 netbook is expected to be available at $460 (Rs. 22,000 approx.).
Gateway LT2102H netbook is similar in configuration with the Toshiba NB305, but it has 160GB storage capacity. However, this set has a trackpad offering multitouch gestures, which is not found in the Toshiba set.
The LT2102H set is expected to be available for $300 (Rs. 14,400 approx.)
So, everything would be clear at the Las Vegas show, which is to be held from Jan7-10 this year.
