Delhi Court advised a petitioner to watch the movie 'Taare Zameen Par' to get a clear idea about dyslexia.

Dyslexia, a learning disability was beautifully displayed by Darsheel Safary in the movie 'Taare Zameen Par'. The movie has been instrumental in bringing about an awareness of the disability among the mass.

Chief Justice Ajit Prakash Shah of Delhi High Court, understanding his petitioner’s poor knowledge of dyslexia, suggested the petitioner to watch the film.

The court said "You must have VCD at home. See 'Taare Zameen Par' to understand about the problem of dyslexia,” when S.C. Jain termed dyslexia a mental disorder. The petitioner was pulled up for filing a frivolous petition.
