Synaptics Fuse Mobile Phone Concept To Be Showcased At Mobile World Congress 2010 Synaptics Fuse |
Synaptics plans to demonstrate new capabilities on the Fuse mobile phone concept at the 2010 Mobile World Congress in Baecelona. The same concept was showcased at the CES this year.
As part of its Fuse concept, Synaptics had shown multiple interface technologies including multi-touch capacitive sensing, haptic feedback, 3-D graphics and force sensing. But, this time, the Mobile World Congress will come with a new look and new theme ‘Vision in Action’ to put forward latest technologies in user interface.
Synaptics and its partners such as Immersion, TI, TheAlloy, and TAT have also planned to demonstrate new ideas in coming up with Fuse mobile phone concept.
The Fuse mobile concept came to the fore to resolve the human interface challenges faced by the handsets- single-handed usage and the requirement to look at the screen. Now at the Mobile World Congress, there will be a display of newer interactions such as like dialing and navigation from the back of the device, scrolling sensors, a gaming application with the side grip and optimized haptic feedback technology.
