The best actor award in 17th Annual Star Screen Awards 2011 went to Salman Khan for his movie Dabangg and Vidya Balan bagged the best actress award for the flick Ishqiya.

 

The best movie award went to Udaan with its director Vikramaditya Motwane bagging the award of the best director.

 

Most Promising Male Newcomer award went to Ranveer Singh for the movie Band Baaja Baaraat and Sonakshi Sinha received the Most Promising Female Newcomer award for Dabangg.
