SRK and Yash Raj Films are trying to salvage their reputation once again of being the most successful mix in giving hit movies. Recently, SRK got an offer from YRF for a movie, yet untitled.
‘Veer Zara’ was the movie in the year 2004 which brought fame and name to both Shah Rukh and Yash Raj Films. Once again, the two are coming together and this time SRK will be directed by YRF head honcho Yash Chopra or son Aditya Chopra.
Sources add further, “YRF is yet to decide who will direct the Shah Rukh starrer. SRK has very good relations with both, Yashji and Aditya. He has equal faith in both of them. They are like family to him.”
The shooting of the film will commence from the year 2011 and Shah Rukh will be acting in two films at a time, one being ‘Don’ sequel and the other will be from the Yash Raj banner.
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from YRF adds, “We are still working on our slate for the coming year and will make our announcements at the appropriate time on the finalization of our projects.”
SRK has always been lucky for the YRF and even this time, the audiences can expect a movie of substance from their upcoming film.
