Sonam: Are You Ready For My New Look? Sonam Kapoor |
Sonam Kapoor has been carrying her starry-eyed and trendy image since her debut film Dehi 6. Now this damsel has to change her look for a movie and fashion statement.
Sonam is really found of her looks and her style (not saying, that she is a narcissist!) Her fashion statements have been the same glamorous one’s since the starting of her career.
The styles of the actress in the movie Aisha is really being worked on and she looks like a perfect urban chick in the movie.
The same trend is continued for her in the movie ‘I Hate Luv Storys”. She has learnt to plunge and remain in the immature mud of glittering wears and shimmering styles.
But, unfortunately in the movie ‘Mausam’ with Shahid kapoor, she is required to change her giddy and young lover kind of image. Fashion designer, Anamika Khanna is working at great lengths on this concept.
She is playing more of a woman kind of role in the movie and her on-screen transformation should captivate the audience.
She is highly nervous with her new woman look and wonders about the audience’s acceptance.
A crew member adds “the looks are no less than devastating.”
So, Sonam, why don’t you ask daddy (Anil Kapoor) to do something about it?? As you so fondly told on radio “I am born with a silver spoon in my mouth and I have everything in my life”.
Another crew member adds "She had reservations about being bracketed in the maturer mould so early in her career. In all her films so far from Saawariya to Thank You, Sonam has played girls her own age and dressed accordingly in what she's comfortable with. The Western clothes that'd transform her into a chic Delhi socialite in Aisha are as much a part of her personality as the salwar-kameez that she wore in Delhi 6."
Mausam producer Sheetal Talwar says "Shahid has sported the mature mellow look in 'Jab We Met'. But for Sonam the transformation from girl to woman in Mausam is a challenge. Before she left for Scotland, Sonam wanted to be completely comfortable in her new avatar."
