After the break up between Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor, father Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial ‘Mausam came to a halt. Though things were turning positively between them after the break up but Shahid’s father Pankaj decided to launch Anil Kapoor’s daughter Sonam Kapoor in the film after Kareena.

Though the production team had earlier head hunted for other renowned actor’s daughter but finally landed up with the popular face Sonam.

Since she is rated as a good actress in Bollywood, everybody in the film unit were happy to have Sonam in their film. In the past due to Kareena they had undergone lots of trouble for whom their work got delayed and so they have selected the next heroine very cautiously.

Hope the mausam between Shahid and Sonam goes well before ‘Mausam’ gets clicked on screen.
