The much hyped Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor starrer flick Mausam has already attracted high publicity and now there is a new turn in the story. In the directorial debut of Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor, the actor will be seen romancing one more girl other than Sonam.
Shocked? Yes, according to recent reports the film also stars a newcomer named Aditi Sharma who will be seen showing keen interest in Shahid.
A source said, "Aditi plays Shahid's love interest in the first half of the film. She has two songs and quite a few romantic scenes with him. But eventually Shahid leaves her for Sonam. Aditi is currently in Chandigarh shooting for the film."
It is reported that the role Aditi is portraying in the flick has quite a negative shade or should we say a little bitchy character.
The source said, "The makers of the film wanted a girl with a vamp-like face. Pankaj Kapoor was very keen on casting Monikangana Dutta but she has signed a contract with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. So it didn't work out."
When asked about the new reports, Sheetal Talwar who is the producer of the movie commented, "Aditi is playing a role in the film but it's not a parallel lead or second lead."
