Shahid Becomes A Pilot? Shahid Kapoor |
Right from flying aircrafts to riding dirt bikes in rough terrains, Bollywood actors have done everything now. The recent addition is by Shahid Kapoor as he flew a tornado battle aircraft at the Air Force base near Edinburgh.
Shahid did this super-daring task just to give authenticity to the scenes in his upcoming movie ‘Mausam’. He plays the role of an air force pilot in the movie and stars opposite to Sonam Kapoor.
‘Mausam’ is the directorial debut of Shahid’s dad, Pankaj Kapoor and the movie is being shot in Edinburgh since a long time. The movie is expected to release by next year.
It was very difficult for the movie crew to shoot in the proper base camp with Shahid Kapoor flying a Tornado. Firstly, it was really difficult to retain the permission to shoot in the base camp, but it just became impossible to get permission for Shahid to fly the plane.
A crew member adds, “At first, we somehow managed to get permission to shoot at the airbase. Then we got greedy and we wanted Shahid to actually fly the Tornado. That was tougher than we thought."
Shahid was properly trained to fly the plane and with utmost caution and discretion, the shooting finally took place.
Now, the already shot sequences would be later incorporated with the shoot later in August at an air force camp in Hyderabad.
