The countdown has begun for ‘KBC’ season 4, the show may telecast on Sony on October 11, which is Big B’s birthday. Amitabh Bachchan is going to host the show even this time, so the channel is thinking to give Big B this privilege.
The registrations will begin from August 2 through phone lines on Sony Entertainment Channel and it may finally flag-off on October 11, the 68th birthday of megastar and host of KBC, Amitabh Bachchan.
Sources reveal, “That’s the plan, but there could be a last-minute change. It’s a programming and marketing decision that will be taken in due course of time.”
Meanwhile, Ajit Thakur, Sony’s business head and executive vice-president adds, “Yes, we are toying with the idea of starting it on Mr. Bachchan’s birthday, let’s see what happens. Right now, we are focused on sifting out entries. The phone lines open on Monday, August 2.”
The logo for KBC has also undergone a change and it will be a new ‘Rupaiyya’ symbol instead of the old ‘Rs’. The show is being telecast on Sony for the first time and viewers will see many changes in its presentation this time.
