Badshah of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan is set to rock the year 2011 with his two mega budget releases; Ra One and Don 2. Not only this, the two movies will be released globally in December 2011.
A source said, “While in the first part, Don wanted to take over the crime syndicate in India, in ‘Don 2′ the Don wants to capture the entire European market.”
The source added, “Shah Rukh’s character is no longer an Indian crimelord wanted in 11 countries. He is portrayed as a European gangster, replete with all the trappings of an international kingpin.”
Meanwhile, the other source close to King Khan also added, “It was one thing for Shah Rukh to portray the Indian don wanted in 11 countries. In ‘Don 2′, his character wants to rule Europe. Shah Rukh’s clothes, cars, girls, gadgets, body language and perfume had to convey a global aura.”
Don 2: The Chase Continues is directed by Farhan Akhtar. It is the sequel to the 2006 film, Don: The Chase Begins Again, which is a remake of the 1978 film Don. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri, reprising their roles from the previous film, while Lara Dutta and Kunal Kapoor will be seen playing new characters.
