Shah Rukh Khan Takes Too Much Pain For 'My Name Is Khan' Shah Rukh Khan |
Perfection in acting is something needless to speak about Shah Rukh, but the pain that flows is too much for Khan. He literally went through a lot of pain while dedicating his role in ‘MNIK’.
He reportedly had to undergo severe migraines and pain in the neck while getting through the character in shootouts.
Eventually he had to land up with doctors, though he tried to ignore them for the first few times and popped pills in between the shoots.
As per the doctors report, the pain is in his neck and the headache was due strenous expressions and posture that he need to make an imitation of the character Rizwan, where Shah Rukh has to display the mental illness Asperger`s Syndrome.
He was reported to have never complained earlier about any hedache, director Karan Johar states, "I guess that`s one of the hazards when you play your role so intensely. Shah Rukh`s character Rizwan had to arch his eyebrows and focus his eyes on a certain place before every take. Halfway through the shooting of the film, Shah Rukh developed severe headaches as result of all the pressure it would put on his head so he had to see a neurosurgeon for that. We were worried... Shah Rukh has never had this problem before."
