Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders made a profit of about Rs 13 crore in its starting edition but, for Shah Rukh money does not matter anymore.

The passion of cricket is the fuel which drives this royal king named Shah Rukh Khan which means ‘face of a king’. Shah Rukh is the man who kept the worth of his name and became a king indeed.

Shah Rukh said, “I didn’t buy a cricket team to make money. I dance at weddings and make much more money there. I endorse so many products, from a phone company to cola, I don’t have to worry about money. Some things run on passion; I am a sportsperson myself, so I bought a cricket team. I want to pass it on to my children. Movies, I don’t do them for money. If I like a subject, I will put money on it and make a film.”

Kolkata’s Eden Garden saw a crowd of 70,000 people. The tickets of the open galleria where Shah Rukh sat costs Rs 32,000 but none of the seats remained vacant because people came to meet the King Khan.

Kolkata has taken this man as the King of Kolkata though Sourav Ganguly remains to be the Prince of Kolkata fighting for his team in the field. Shah Rukh remains noble in both victory of the teams and also when it’s defeated.
