Shah Rukh Khan's Tie-Up With The Todis Upset Fans Shah Rukh Khan |
Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan’s fans are upset with his team Kolkata Knight Riders’ tie-up with the Todis. Ahead of the upcoming IPL series, Shah Rukh Khan is in the midst of controversy again. The actor is facing stiff resistance from artists, actors, dancers, writers and performers on his sponsorship deal with inner wear brand Lux Cozy.
Ashok Todi and Pradip Todi owned Lux Cozy is the uniform sponsor for the Kolkata Knight Riders team. The actor was appointed as brand ambassador for the company in turn. The controversy sneaked as Ashok Todi faces court trial alleged of being involved in the murder of his son-in-law graphics designer Rizwanur Rehman. The murder case had fumed up with dismissal of then Kolkata Police Commissioner Prasun Mukherjee.
The start of 2010 has not been good for the actor as he landed up into several controversies which included his support for Pakistani players following boycott of the release of his movie ‘My Name Is Khan’ from Shiv Sena. The circumstances will certainly coerce the actor to rethink over the deal as his team needs fan support with the T20 extravaganza to follow.
