Samsung Galaxy Tab |
With Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 on its way to hit Mobile World Congress (MWC), telecom companies are set to slash the prices of Samsung Galaxy Tab. The T-Mobile has brought down the prices of Samsung Galaxy Tab to $249.99 with a two-year contract.
Though it is a great deal, gadget freaks would certainly want to try the new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 that comes equipped with Android’s new operating system Android 3.0 or Honeycomb.
Samsung Galaxy Tab is, however, not less than anything. Samsung Galaxy Tab is an Android-based tablet computer that was launched in September 2010. The tablet was launched after Apple came with its iPad tablet. Though it directly competed with Apple, Samsung Galaxy Tab witnessed runway success and sold nearly 2 million units as of January 2011.
With 7 inches wide TFT-LCD touch-screen, the device has a 1.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 ‘Hummingbird’ processor. The tablet is equipped with the Swype input system and features a 3.2 mega pixels camera. The tablet has a 1.3 mega pixels front facing camera for making video calls. This version of Samsung Galaxy Tab runs on Android Froyo operating system.
