Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 or Samsung’s next generation tablet computer is in line for launch soon. This is almost confirmed by the company though not by formal announcement.
According to sources, the company is reported to have revealed this information in its financial report. Samsung Galaxy tablet was a successful product and saw sales of about 2 million units worldwide. The Galaxy tablet competes directly with Apple’s iPad, though Samsung lags far behind Apple’s iPad.
Besides, there are also rumors of Apple’s second generation iPad, which is expected to be launched in the summer. Even Apple has not confirmed it officially. However, Apple has been launching its new devices in summer.
Samsung, which has already tasted the success from its Galaxy tablet, is sure not going to remain quiet with its first gen Galaxy tablet PC.
Now that, it is almost clear that both the technology giants are preparing for the launch of next generation tablet PCs. The question is who would be the first to launch and when would the launch happen.
Apple’s tablet computer was first-of-its kind device, which was sized between smartphone and laptop’s size. The model of the device was quickly adopted by many technological giants including Samsung, Motorola and others.
