Samsung Galaxy S II Likely To Hit India In March Samsung Galaxy S II |
Samsung Galaxy S II, which made its debut at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011, is likely to be launched in India in March, according to sources.
According to sources, Samsung Mobile India has said in a blog post that the phone would be launched this month without actually mentioning the date.
Samsung is the only technology major to release its high-end gadgets to Indian market soon after its official launch. All other technology majors including Apple, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and LG usually release their products for the Indian market in their second or third consignment. Going by this trend followed by Samsung, we can expect the smartphone to be launched soon in the Indian market.
Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone is powered by Android 2.3 or Gingerbread operating system- one of the very few smartphones has this OS. The phone equips 8 mega pixels camera plus a front facing camera for making video calls, 1GHz dual-core processor and 4.3 inches Super AMOLED Plus display screen.
