Samsung is planning to launch the Corby’s CDMA version in India soon. This is in perspective with acquiring the large market of the CDMA segment in India.
Seeing the large user base in CDMA and GSM segments, Samsung Corby’s CDMA version will provide necessary impetus to its market growth.
The CDMA sets are expected to be the touchscreen sets, which will provide all the necessary features along with social networking option. The other features will be on par with the existing Corby sets.
It is also in news that Samsung is planning to release a new GSM version of its Corby model called Corby W, which will be provided with Wi-Fi. The so called GSM enabled set would be released to the market as S3650w.
CDMA Corby might cost around Rs 10,000. But, to ensure good sale, the ideal price range should be Rs 7,000-8,500.
