Samsung has announced the latest mid-range handsets, the S7070 and the S5150 at a Corby related event. Both the handsets are of different categories.
The S7070 phone is a touchscreen set, which sports with a 3-inch touchscreen and is well supported with the advanced TouchWiz user interface. The other features in this device include a 5 MP camera with autofocus option, Bluetooth and Micro USB support. However, this set has no Wi-Fi option, which may annoy the customer. But, there are other features including the FM radio and microSD expandable memory with the set.
According to the sources, the Samsung S7070 set will hit the markets in early 2010.
The other Diva phone is the S5150, which is a clamshell phone. The phone boasts of two displays. There is a 2.2-inch QVGA display to carry out necessary activities. The second display is invisible, which is kept under the mirror panel. It is meant for displaying basic information for the user. The S5150 is also known as Olivia and comes with a 3 MP camera and all other necessary features with it.
The Samsung Olivia is expected to be released to the market in the early 2010 with the other Diva phone.
However, Samsung has not disclosed any details including the price of these Diva phones.
