Though Indian film industry is called Bollywood but, famous B-Town actors don’t seem to like the name including Salman Khan. He feels that Bollywood has been derived from Hollywood and he finds it disgusting.

 

He is not the only one ,even megastar Amitabh Bachchan is against the name of our film industry because the name sounds as though it has been imitated from Hollywood and so, it’s not appropriate.

 

Recently, Salman Khan’s twitter page read, “Hate this bloody name, Bollywood. Koi naam hai kya? Disgusting.”

 

However, even if the name is not liked by many of the big stars of Bollywood, it might not be easy to change the name now as it has even been placed in Oxford dictionary.

 

So, whether it sounds good, bad or disgusting, the glamorous Indian film industry is called Bollywood.
