Rihanna bravely walked the red carpet at Sunday's (31Jan10) Grammys without a date - a year after she was attacked by her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown at a pre-awards party for the event last year (09).
The Umbrella hitmaker, who was nominated for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for Run This Town with Jay-Z and Kanye West, dazzled at this year's (10) event in a long evening gown.
Both Rihanna and Brown were due to sing at last year's (09) ceremony, but cancelled their slots at the last minute after a vicious fight which left the Bajan beauty battered and bruised.
The 21 year old has since returned to the spotlight by releasing her fourth album, Rated R, in November (09).
Fans called for her to seal her comeback with a slot at the 2010 Grammys, but earlier last month (Jan10), Rihanna confessed she would not be taking the stage over fears she upset producers by dropping out of the 2009 show..
She told reporters, "We messed their show up pretty bad last year. They might be a little mad at me."
