RGV’s ‘Department’ Has Abhishek, Sanjay Dut Ram Gopal Verma |
The subject matters of the movies of Ram Gopal Varma has always been grounded to reality, even this time he is all set to bring one such more subject into limelight and for that he has taken Abhishek and Sanjay Dutt in the lead role.
His new outing will be ‘Department’ and it will go on floors in April, 2011. The movie has a challenging and a realistic subject matter and it is based on the internal politics of the police department.
The director says, "I am doing a fictional film on internal politics and lives of encounter specialists named Department. The film is not based on any existing characters. It will go on floors in April next year.”
Apart from Sanjay and Abhishek, Ritesh Deshmukh has also been taken to act in the movie. RGV’s last outing ‘Rakta Charitra’ wasn’t a hit, but earned good viewership. Presently, the director is working in full spirits for his first 3d film ‘Amma’.
Varma says, “For many years I was thinking of making an adventurous 3D film, using the ultra modern technology. I feel this genre is not much explored by Indian filmmakers.”
The full star cast of the movie ‘Amma’ includes Vivek Oberoi, Zayed Khan, Sonu Sood, Abhimanyu Singh, Naseeruddin Shah along with few American actors.
The movie will be released in Telegu, Hindi, Tamil and English, the movie will go on floors by first week of February.
