Rakhi Sawant, the hot drama queen along with four other reporters couldn’t get relief from the abetment to suicide case filed against them.

 

The case was lodged in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Sawant along with the four other reporters has appealed to high court asking for quashing the FIR registered against them. The FIR charges them of abetting Laxman Aharwar’s suicide who took part in the reality show Rakhi Ka Insaaf aired on NDTV Imagine but he was verbally humiliated by Rakhi onscreen. It is alleged that Laxman went into depression and later committed suicide.

 

Other than Rakhi, the FIR also includes names of three reporters from Jhansi and a Lucknow reporter who found out details about the dispute that existed between Laxman and his wife and other relatives.

 

The advocate of the accused, Satish Maneshinde appealed interim relief for them till the decision of the petition in order to escape police action. However, their plea has been rejected by the division bench.
