It is reported that a warrant was issued against superstar Rajinikanth’s wife Latha and daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth over financial dispute. The warrant was later recalled after both of them went for an out-of-court settlement.

 

A businessman named Sumerchand Bafna lodged a complaint claiming that the actor Rajinikanth’s wife and daughter took a loan of about Rs. 20 lakhs back in August 2009. However, they gave him two cheques for repaying the amount but it bounced on December 1, 2010.

 

He then lodged a complaint responding to which the Magistrate's court called the ladies to appear before the court. However, they didn’t turn up following which an arrest warrant had to be issued by the court.

 

However, Latha and Soundarya settled the matter out of court and later, Sumerchand also withdrew his complaint which was approved by the court.
