South superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya tied the knot with Ashwin who is a Stanford graduate. The wedding took place at Rani Meyammai Hall of Chennai.

 

The wedding took place in a traditional Brahmin ceremony and it was attended by many famous celebrities. The marriage ceremony was graced with the presence of Home Minister P Chidambaram who left for New Delhi after blessing the newlywed couple. Many DMK party members also attended the marriage.

 

However, Jayaram Jayalalitha, AIADMK leader couldn’t attend the function as she is busy with the upcoming assembly polls in Tamil Nadu.

 

Rajini is said to have made all the arrangements of his daughter’s wedding himself and some sources said that the actor of sci-fi movie Robot or Endhiranhas has reportedly gifted a new apartment to beloved daughter Soundarya.
