American actress Rachel Bilson famously known for portraying the role of ‘Summer Roberts’ in prime time drama series ‘The O.C’ has called off her engagement with long time beau, Hayden Christensen.
From a long time, news of the pair’s break up was circulating in the media circuit but no confirmation was made. Now after days of spectulations, Bilson`s representative has confirmed the split reports.
"Yes, the engagement is off," Bilson`s spokesperson quoted.
However, Bilson`s representative refused to disclose the details of the separation. It is believed that distance played the major role in couple’s break-up.
"It just wasn`t working out,” a close pal of the actress said.
The friend also added that Bilson is now "focusing on her career, spending time with her family and just moving forward.”
Bilson and Hayden Christensen met on the set of Jumper in 2007 and became engaged in 2008. But, in June 2010, it was reported that they have split up.
