The much awaited date of 16 June for Raavan’s premier got the movie just a few meters away from its grand release. Hundreds of people gathered in London for the huge gala event.
The bilingual film, Raavan had its star studded premier in London on June 16, 7 Pm. The majestic event was attended by King Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. However, Aamir Khan was also invited for the event, but he missed it.
Mani Ratnam, Aishwarya, Vikram and Abhishek Bachchan showed signs of great excitement on the day, as the movie is releasing tomorrow worldwide.
Thousands of spectators, media people and guests cheered the team and wished for the grand success of the movie.
Mani Ratnam has high hopes from the movie, as his previous creations like Guru, Dil Se and Roja were super hits on the box office.
The director said that the movie has been done with spirit and said "It has been done with spirit. We have all worked hard.”
When asked his feelings on the day, he said "It is just a few metres away...lets see it.”
Mani was also asked the reason for choosing Aishwarya for the role. He replied “She was right for it. Is there any other reason?"
