Priyanka Chopra is excited to perform in Durban along with Shahid Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan on the 150th year of friendship shared by India and South Africa.

 

Priyanka said, "I was approached for this event when the idea was being discussed. I thought it was a wonderful way to celebrate the 150 years of friendship between India and South Africa. There is no better way than to celebrate it in true Bollywood style."

 

It is reported that this grand event is likely to be hosted by Anil Kapoor.

 

In the past the actress worked in movies Aitraaz and Andaaz shot in South Africa. Priyanka added, "Given that there has been a 150-year association between the two countries, there are many similarities between the two. In many ways there is a certain familiarity every time I go there (South Africa). I have been to South Africa many times and enjoyed every trip."
