Prince Harry Kidnapped On Channel 4 Prince Harry |
It seems Prince Harry slowly and steadily has become the favourite subject of the British media. A TV channel is set to broadcast ‘dramatised documentary’ with the storyline of Prince being kidnapped by the Taliban in Afghanistan.
The 90-minute documentary titled, ‘The Taking of Prince Harry’ will be broadcasted on Channel 4.
The younger son of the Prince of Wales served as the forward air controller in Afghanistan's Helmand region alongside the Gurkhas in 2008. However, Harry’s this bravery act was kept a hush-hush affair. He was called back home in February 2008 after the secret was leaked.
Actor Sebastian Reid has portrayed the role of younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and the late Diana, Princess of Wales, and grandson of Queen Elizabeth II.
Meanwhile, Channel 4`s head of documentaries, Hamish Mykura has dismissed the fact that it will increase the chances of high-profile kidnappings.
Hamish quoted, “I think it is just wrong to say that this would create a new idea that wasn`t there already."
The show is scheduled to be aired on Oct 21 at 9 p.m.
"We are not prepared to comment on this work of fiction," said a spokesman for Clarence House, the royal home in London.
"Speculating about the security of Prince Harry, both as a serving member of the Armed Forces and a senior member of the Royal Family, is unhelpful.”
