‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’, the fourth instalment of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ series has hit the floors. As well all know the new addition to the star cast is Oscar winning actress Penelope Cruz while everyone’s favourite Johnny Depp has reprised his role of Captain Jack Sparrow in the flick.
The filming of the movie which is directed by Rob Marshall commenced on location in Hawaii, Los Angeles and Britain.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides", is produced under the banner of Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer Films. The action-packed tale of truth and betrayal is scheduled to hit the silver screen on May 20, 2011 which also stars Geoffrey Rush, Ian McShane, Kevin R. McNally, Astrid Berges-Frisbey and Sam Claflin in the important roles.
In the movie, Captain Jack Sparrow crosses paths with a woman from his past (Penelope Cruz), and he's not sure if it's love or if she's a ruthless con artist who's using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth.
When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (Ian McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn't know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.
