Pop star Peter Andre has claimed that after his split from his estranged wife Katie Price left him devastated. The star also admitted that he was so depressed that once he thought of ending his life.
The couple ended their three and a half years of marriage in 2009. The singer insisted that his divorce from the model left him suffering panic attacks.
Peter Andre said, "I (would) wake up at 3 a.m., and feel a hammering in my head. I would start panicking and hyperventilating. My hands would start sweating and I thought my heart was going to pop out of my body."
"You think you're having a heart attack. No matter how many times you've had it, every time you think, this is it, I'm going to die," the singer added.
The 37-year old star confessed, "Did I think about ending my life? You can have thoughts like that and I'm not going to lie. There were times when it was so bad that I thought, 'Am I better off?' But you have to look at what's around you. My family were my entire life and that's what stopped me."
