This Year’s Oscar Glorified Women’s Power To Mark Women’s Day?
For the first time a female in Oscar history has marked with the Best Director Award win by Kathryn Bigelow for her direction of ‘The Hurt Locker’ that left the giant male competitors in gaping awe.

Moreover, she deserves the award who proved her talent and quality which audiences from worldwide had appreciated her work. Also it remarkably proved to be a great box office hit , doing remarkable business with a record breaking collection.

It just not for the namesake she has received the award, unlike any female directors her perception of working on a daring concept is quite challenging and has made women proud world over. Making women feel that they can do anything if they want to and take the toughest challenge against men.

Most importantly in a male dominated field with a massive male oriented concept is quite challenging for a women and Bigelow’s win is a significant victory that reflected women’s capability. It is quite striking about Academy to have picked a female among the male challengers without making any fuss.

Watching Bigelow ascend the stage is meaningful for all women, Barbra Streisand said, “The time has come. It can be done. There is something in Bigelow that makes us want to be better versions of ourselves, insofar as there is something in her that never gave up”

According Bigelow her first inspiration Sam Peckinpah’s 1969 flick ‘The Wild Bunch’ which she watched at a New York theater. She feels her attraction to the typically male-dominated material is no enigma.

Quite boldly, she added, “There’s really no difference between what I do and what a male filmmaker might do.”

This is the most favored moment for women’s pride and dignity giving ways to their outmost power by Bigelow’s Oscar win. In most appreciable words of Dylan that very well coincides with her character and her spirit, stated, “She’s got everything she needs; she’s an artist; she don’t look back.” God bless Bigelow for making women feel that what is possible is something unrelated to compromise, unrelated to playing nice, and unrelated to what other people say we should do—and who bet can be.”

Really this year Oscar's judgement has made a remarkable impact and very well gifted women on account of 'Women's Day' celebration on 8th March.
