The world’s largest mobile manufacturer, Nokia, has announced its 5800 Navigation Edition, which is being projected by Nokia as the repurposed version of Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. The Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition provides the users with numerous navigation-based features, including a lifetime license for regional navigation.
This new Nokia smart phone comes with the HSDPA data connectivity. It also contains a vivid 3.2-inch widescreen touch sensitive display which is meant for displaying contents such as photos, movies, and maps.
The 5800 Navigation Edition provides the users with the latest version of Ovi Maps, which consists of high resolution aerial imagery, terrain maps, weather service information, as well as additional content for use with its integrated GPS chipset. The phone also comes with an included car mount and a car charger.
The media can be saved by the users onto the microSD cards. This works like the photos that are shot using the 5800's 3.2 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss components and dual-LED flash. The device is equipped with an 8GB card in-box and users have the option to play music over a set of built-in stereo speakers.
The 5800 Navigation Edition will be available to the users during the third quarter of 2009 for 285 EUR (US$400), excluding taxes and subsidies.
